The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra’s 2023/2024 Season will feature a variety of programming that has been designed to entice new audience members as well as delight its long-standing patrons. The blend of exceptional guest conductors and artists with the excellence of Your Youngstown Symphony Orchestra musicians is sure to produce a season full of exciting and memorable live concerts.
Guest conductor Erik Ochsner will return this season after his Youngstown debut last October during the two-show run of Ghostbusters in Concert. Two new guest conductors will take the podium; Lawrence Loh (Symphoria) and Francisco Noya (Boston Civic Symphony Orchestra). While the search for a music director continues, the Youngstown Symphony Society’s goal remains the same, to engage with the audience and orchestra on and off the stage through community engagement events, as well as design programming to grow the audience.
