Your Youngstown Symphony Orchestra announces a Valentine’s Day Pops Concert featuring David Perrico and Pop Symphonic.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the Youngstown Symphony Society will present a Valentine’s Day Pops concert
featuring Your Youngstown Symphony Orchestra (YSO) with David Perrico and Pop Symphonic. The 7:30pm performance
will be held at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Powers Auditorium.

Guest Conductor and trumpeter, David Perrico, is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. His credentials include a Master’s degree
in Composition/Film Score from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and Bachelors of Music from Youngstown State
University. Mr. Perrico is the Founder/Owner of DPG Enterprises employing dozens of Las Vegas musicians. He is also the
Music Director for the NFL Las Vegas Raiders House Band at Allegiant Stadium. He has received two National Awards for
original orchestral compositions. He has show credits with Paul Shaffer, The Village People, Pin Up, Rat Pack is Back,
Cirque Du Soleil-Viva Elvis, Toronto Pops Symphony, The Scinta’s, Chris Jason Sinatra Live Hamilton Symphony, Dean
Martin Lives Show, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Divas 3 and numerous Cruise Line acts.

The Valentine’s Day – Pop Symphonic performance will feature music including: jazz, classic rock, pop, and even some
disco and a little Beethoven. A highlight of the evening is expected to be Perrico’s own composition “Youngstown
Steeltown”, a tribute to his hometown, Youngstown. Joining David Perrico and Your YSO on stage will be 13 guest artists
featuring instrumental soloists and vocalists.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 22 for the February 14th concert. Ticket prices range from $35 to $75, plus applicable
fees. Discounts are available for YSO Season ticket holders and students. Tickets can be purchased Monday through
Friday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm by calling 330-259-9651, or in person at The YourArts box office at the DeYor Performing Arts
Center at 260 W. Federal Street in downtown Youngstown. Tickets are also available 24 hours a day online at
youngstownsymphony.com and experienceyourarts.org.
