YOUNGSTOWN, OH (March 14, 2024) The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra will hold auditions for section violin and viola players on Monday, April 29 as well as principal and section cello players on Tuesday, April 30. Auditions will be held at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Qualified applicants should register at younsgtownsymphony.com before the deadline of April 15, 2024. The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra is a per-service ensemble with a season consisting of approximately 25 regular services and varying educational and outreach services.
Pay for the 2024/2025 Season – Principal: $133.40 per service and Section: $116.00 per service. Cartage and doubling added when applicable.
Applicants are required by federal law to provide proof of eligibility of employment if offered a position.
