The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra performs concerts at both Stambaugh Auditorium and their home venue DeYor Performing Arts Center.
Stambaugh Auditorium features two large 450-spot parking areas located off of Ford Avenue. Overflow parking can be found on the streets surrounding Stambaugh as well as in both the paved lot and grass lot on Caroline Street between Fifth Avenue and Ford Avenue. Parking for events in Stambaugh Auditorium’s designated lots is free.
Guests can utilize public parking lots surrounding the venue or purchase parking passes for designated performances at DeYor Performing Arts Center. Passholder parking is located in the lot on the north side of West Commerce Street. Additional parking is available in downtown Youngstown, with varying pricing.
There are multiple ways for an individual or business to donate and support DeYor Performing Arts Center and the YourArts initiative. The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra hosts a variety of events during its seasons that include everything from traditional orchestra performances, such as the Masterworks series, to Pop symphony concerts featuring more modern music arrangements to holiday movies featuring live symphony accompaniment. There’s something for everyone during the YSO season!
Getting & Using Tickets
Tickets for most events are on sale 24 hours/day from our websites https://youngstownsymphony.com/ or https://experienceyourarts.org Tickets are available for purchase in person at the DeYor Performing Arts Center during box office hours. 260 West Federal Street Youngstown, Ohio 44504 Box Office hours are Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 5:00 PM. Tickets may be purchased by calling 330-259-9651 Monday – Friday, 10 am – 5 pm. Service charges apply to all ticket sales.
There are three ways to get your tickets. For your convenience, if you purchase your tickets on our website, you can choose “Print at Home” or “Mobile Ticket” as your ticket delivery options.
Your Print-at-Home and Mobile tickets will be emailed to you in a PDF attachment and will arrive within 10 minutes of your purchase. Print-at-Home is available for all performances and parking at Stambaugh Auditorium and DeYor PAC. By selecting Mobile tickets, you can download the tickets into your Ticket Wallet app within moments.
Yes. “Select Your Own Seat” capability which features an interactive seating chart that enables you to select your own seats.
Most concerts allow you to select your own seat with our new interactive seat map.
- Click on the level (section) – Dots that are not filled represent seats that are still available.
- Place your cursor over the seat you want, and the price will pop up.
- Click to seat to choose it.
- If you change your mind, just click again to remove it.

If you cannot use your tickets, you may give them to a friend who would enjoy the performance. You may also donate them back to the YSO for resale and receive credit for a charitable donation of the purchase price by returning your tickets by phone no later than 2 1/2 hours prior to performance time. Call the Ticket Office at 330-259-9651 to arrange a donation.
There are no refunds on single tickets.
Our doors open one hour prior to all performances. For a relaxing and enjoyable experience, we encourage you to arrive early.
There is no official dress code for events at DeYor PAC and Stambaugh Auditorium. Many patrons wear business attire, and many prefer to be more casual. Wear whatever makes you feel more comfortable.
Introducing small children to music is important to the YSO and we welcome young children to our youth concerts. Children, approximately age six and over, are welcome at all performances with a purchased ticket.
Applause is usually appropriate at the end of a piece (when the conductor lowers his hands). In multi-movement work, it is customary to wait until the end of the last movement to applaud, so as not to break the concentration of the performers.
Unless otherwise announced in the program or concert, the use of still, video and digital cameras or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited at all times in the concert hall. You are more than welcome to take photos and video in the lobbies and garden/courtyard area of both DeYor PAC and Stambaugh Auditorium.
Latecomers will be seated at suitable intervals during the program, typically between pieces.
Bar service is available pre-concert and through intermission for Youngstown Symphony Orchestra concerts.
For Youngstown Symphony Orchestra performances, intermission generally lasts for twenty minutes. This may vary for certain kinds of performances. Lights will flash shortly before the end of intermission, so that you have enough time to return to your seat before the performance resumes.
No. In fact, it can be a wonderful discovery to simply sit down and listen to whatever the orchestra plays. However, some people like to know a bit about the music before they hear it. For most Youngstown Symphony Orchestra concerts, Program Notes are provided with background information about the works, composers, and guest artists on the program. If you would like to read the Program Notes in advance, they are posted online, usually a week before the concert.
