Local Vocalist joins the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra Jazz Combo for Valentine's Day Concert

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra is proud to present “Let’s Fall in Love” featuring Amanda Beagle, with the YSO Jazz Combo on Sunday, February 14 at 2:30 pm in Ford Family Recital Hall at the DeYor Performing Arts Center. 

The concert will feature favorites ranging from lively Latin jazz standards, traditional Italian melodies, classic arias, and golden era hits of the Great White Way. Amanda Beagle has traveled the world entertaining international audiences and pulls inspiration for this performance from her unforgettable travels with stories of love, friendship, and adventure. With romance as her theme, Ms. Beagle brings to the stage her warmth, grace, and modern-day glamour for an enchanting evening of love songs. 

Vocalist Amanda Beagle made her New York City debut at Lincoln Center performing with the Little Orchestra Society in their production of Babes in Toyland. She toured the world as a vocalist for Holland America Cruise Lines singing in their Showroom at Sea productions and has performed in several regional theater productions. Ms. Beagle studied music and voice at Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music, and currently serves on the Musical Theatre voice faculty. 

As a longtime teaching artist for SMARTS (Students Motivated by the Arts) Ms. Beagle helped facilitate the Metropolitan Opera Guild’s Creating Original Opera program with numerous Youngstown City School students. She continues to contribute to the SMARTS mission as a teaching artist today, helping to create applied theater curriculum for children on 

the Autism spectrum as well as Pre-K through 3rd grade. She also maintains a thriving private home studio in Howland, OH. 

Seating for the February 14th concert is reserved and socially distanced. Face coverings are required for admittance. Tickets are $37 inclusive of all fees, discounts are available for senior citizens, students/children, and veterans. All tickets must be pre-purchased, no tickets will be sold at the door. The doors for the concert will open at 1:45 pm. The concert will begin at 2:30 pm. For the safety of all guests, musicians, and staff, there will be no concessions, no walk-up ticket sales, and no items distributed to guests at the concert.
